What is a Dinghy Poker Run?
The Dinghy Poker Run is a time for boaters to get their rarely used inflatable water crafts out on the water. It's a about having a good time, enjoying good company, and raising money for a good cause.
The basic idea is to gather 5 playing cards, 1 at each stop. The cards are in a sealed envelope and stay that way until the end! At the final stop, the envelopes are opened by a judge and the best 5 card stud poker hand is recorded. The team with the best hand wins the Grand Prize while other top hands may receive prizes from our generous sponsors.
This event is not a race and no prizes are awarded for the fastest boat. The envelopes can only be opened by a judge at the end of the run, getting through the course first just means you have missed allot of fun on the water.

ALL Dinghies in the Dinghy Poker Run must be inflatable, with a hard or soft bottom. Non-inflatable boats will not be allowed due to safety.
